## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT PLANNED A FLIGHT FROM MOAB, UTAH TO PRICE, UTAH, WITH A LOAD OF CARGO. DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, THE PILOT ENCOUNTERED A STRONG GUST OF WIND WHICH SKIDDED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY ONTO A SLANTING MUDDY SHOULDER. THE PILOT REDUCED POWER AS THE AIRCRAFT WEATHER VANED INTO THE WIND, AND THE NOSEWHEEL CAME INTO CONTACT WITH THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THIS ACTION CAUSED THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE PAVEMENT AND THE RIGHT WING TIP TO HIT THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT THEN CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE CENTER OF THE RUNWAY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT REQUIRES NO FURTHER ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
