## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT DEPARTED GSP AND ATTEMPTED TO RETRACT THE LANDING GEAR. THE INDICATION REVEALED THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT UP AND LOCKED. WHEN HE EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR HE GOT A DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION ON THE LEFT MAIN, BUT NOT THE RIGHT MAIN OR THE NOSE. AFTER TRYING TO CRANK THE GEAR DOWN AND APPLYING A NEGATIVE G LOAD THE RIGHT MAIN CAME DOWN AND LOCKED. THE NOSE DID NOT. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE NOSE GEAR UNLOCKED RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE CAUSE OF THE INITIAL PROBLEM APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN A STUCK RIGHT MAIN STRUT NOT ALLOWING THE RIGHT MAIN TO RETRACT COMPLETELY CAUSING SEVERAL RETRACT RODS TO FRACTURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
