## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIING FOR TAKEOFF; HOWEVER, AS IT MOVED FROM THE PARKED LOCATION, THE BRAKES FAILED, CAUSING IT TO STRIKE A TRUCK PARKED IN AN AIRCRAFT PARKING SPACE. THE LEADING EDGE OF THE RIGHT AIRCRAFT WING, APPROXIMATELY FOUR AND ONE HALF FEET FROM FUSELAGE OUTBOARD HAD A DEPRESSION APPROXIMATELY ONE HALF OF AN INCH DEEP AND APPROXIMATELY FOUR AND ONE HALF INCHES IN LENGTH. THE PROP HAD LIGHT SCRATCHES ON ONE BLADE AND THE OTHER BLADE HAD LIGHT SCRATCHES AND WAS BENT BACK APPROXIMATELY TWO DEGREES APPROXIMATELY THREE INCHES FROM TIP. THE TRUCK RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
