## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE NOSE TIRE OF THE AIRCRAFT INVOLVED FAILED ON TAKEOFF JUST PRIOR TO V-1. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY 1,000 FEET FROM THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY ON CENTER LINE. THE OWNER/PILOT-IN-COMMAND OF THE AIRCRAFT OCCUPIED THE RIGHT FRONT SEAT AS HE WAS PERMITTING ANOTHER PILOT, WHO WAS NOT RATED IN THE AIRCRAFT, TO CONDUCT THE RATINGS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS TO THE NOSE TIRE AND WHEEL. FILE CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
