## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRWORTHINESS- MATERIAL FAILURE OF R/H NOSE LANDING GEAR DOOR BRACKET. ON FEBRUARY 2, 1996 AT 1757 EST A CESSNA 441, N83A, OWNED BY LACKS INDUSTRIES AND OPERATED BY A PROPERLY CERTIFICATED PILOT, MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT MUSKEGON COUNTY INTN'L AIRPORT, MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN, WHEN THE NOSE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RADOME AND NOSE LANDING GEAR DOORS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
