## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 02-04-96, MR. LELAND MUSSELMAN, ACTING AS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, WAS GIVING A FLIGHT REVIEW TO A MR. THOMAS PATTERSON, WHEN THEY FAILED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN THEY HEARD THE NOISE CAUSED BY THE TIP OF THE PROPELLER HITTING THE GROUND AND ELECTED TO DO A GO AROUND. THEY THEN LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR AND LANDED SAFELY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS REPORT IS FINAL AND CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
