## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N7751P DEPARTED STOWE, VERMONT ON 02-04-96, FOR A VMC FLIGHT TO NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE. UPON LANDING AT NASHUA, THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT INDICATE DOWN WHEN EXTENDED, ALTHOUGH ALL OTHER INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. THE GEAR WAS RECYCLED AND THE PROPER INDICATION OCCURRED. THE TOWER GAVE A VISUAL REPORT THAT THE GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND THE RETARDED THROTTLE GAVE A NORMAL INDICATION. A LANDING WAS COMMENCED AND ENDED IN A COLLAPSED GEAR AFTER APPROXIMATELY 1000 FEET OF ROLL OUT. INSPECTION OF THE GEAR ASSEMBLY SHOWED A BENT NOSE GEAR GUIDE ROLLER AND TRACK ASSEMBLY. OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
