## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THIS COMMERCIAL PILOT AND CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR DEPARTED Q24 (LEVELLAND, TX) WITH ONE PASSENGER AND ONE STUDENT ON BOARD, TO DROP THE PASSENGER OFF IN NORMAN, OK. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FULL OF FUEL (54 GAL). AFTER DROPPING THE PASSENGER OFF IN NORMAN, OK, THE FLIGHT WAS RETURNING TO Q24 WHEN THE ENGINE STOPPED RUNNING DUE TO FUEL STARVATION APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES SE OF 3F6 (PADUCAH, TX), AND AT 6500 FT. ATTEMPTED LANDING AT 3F6, LANDED APPROXIMATELY 500 FT SHORT OF RUNWAY; AND COLLAPSING NOSE LANDING GEAR. THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
