## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N2908K RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TAKE OFF FROM DANIELS FIELD (OR78) NEAR HARRISBURG, OREGON. LINN COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT INDICATES THAT N2908K LIFTED OFF THE GROUND ON TAKEOFF, LOST POWER, THEN SETTLED BACK DOWN. BEFORE THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP, IT NOSED OVER ON ITS BACK. THE REPORT IDENTIFIES MR. ROLAND DILLEY AS PILOT IN COMMAND ON THIS FLIGHT. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT MR. DILLEY HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. THESE ATTEMPTS INCLUDED MESSAGES LEFT WITH HIS WIFE, ANSWERING MACHINES, CERTIFIED AND REGULAR MAIL. FAA RECORDS SHOW THAT MR. DILLEY DOES NOT HAVE A CURRENT MEDICAL. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
