## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON FEBRUARY 6, 1996 AT MEMPHIS, N298US HAD A STALL WARNING WRITE-UP. THE STALL WARNING COMPUTER WAS CHANGED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. AGAIN ON FEBRUARY 12, 1996 AT MSP DURING TAKEOFF ROTATION AT 5 DEGREES FLAP SETTING THE STALL WARNING SHAKER CAME ON. N298US RETURNED TO MSP AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE STALL WARNING COMPUTER AND THE STALL WARNING TRANSDUCER WERE CHANGED AND THE SYSTEMS CHECKED OUT AS PER M/M. SUBJECT COMPONENTS WERE TAKEN TO NORTHWEST SHOP FOR TESTING AND THE STALL WARNING TRANSDUCER WAS CONFIRMED A FAILURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
