## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N1239F DEPARTED THE MUSCATINE AIRPORT (MUT) AT 0800 CST ENROUTE TO BURLINGTON AIRPORT (BRL). A CROSSWIND FROM THE LEFT WAS ENCOUNTERED DURING THE LANDING ON RUNWAY 30 AT BRL. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR TOUCHED DOWN AS THE LEFT WING CONTINUED TO RISE UNTIL THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT FELL TO THE RUNWAY AND BROKE THE TAILWHEEL FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
