## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT WAS ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT WITH FOUR PASSENGERS. THE WINDS WERE EXCEPTIONALLY CALM. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT CORPORATE WOODS LOCATED IN OVERLAND PARK, KS WITH INTENTIONS OF LANDING WELL EAST OF KANSAS CITY, MO. DUE TO THE WEAK WINDS, HE ELECTED TO LAND BEFORE HIS FUEL GOT LOW. HE ATTEMPTED THREE TIMES TO LAND PRIOR TO THE FINAL LANDING NEAR A VACANT AREA. THERE WERE NO INJURIES NOR DAMAGE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
