## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 17, 1996, AT 1143 CST, A SAAB 340A, N321PX, OPERATED BY EXPRESS AIRLINES, AS NORTHWEST AIR LINK FLIGHT 5361, RETURNED AND LANDED AT FORT SMITH MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AFTER LOSING HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SHORTLY AFTER TAKE-OFF. THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON A REGULAR SCHEDULED PASSENGER FLIGHT TO MEMPHIS, TN. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOWNLOCK ACTUATOR LINE SWIVEL, PART NUMBER L38710SA, WAS FOUND RUPTURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
