As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 22, 1996, AT 2318Z A CESSNA 172G, N4230L, OPERATED BY DANIEL J TALLARITA, WAS ON THE RAMP AT PALM SPRINGS REGIONAL AIRPORT SITTING 60 DEGREES INTO THE WIND WAITING FOR CLEARANCE TO TAKE-OFF. THE AIRCRAFT WAS PICKED UP BY THE RIGHT WING FROM A GUST OF WIND WHICH RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING TIP AND BOTH PROPELLER BLADES. THIS INCIDENT IS NOW CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
