## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N9053P WAS EXPECTING A STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO RUNWAY 16 AT OGDEN-HINCKLY FIELD. APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES FROM RUNWAY 16 THE PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 21. HIS INSTRUCTIONS WERE TO MAKE A RIGHT BASE TO RUNWAY 21 LAND TO HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 16. THE PILOT SAID THAT THE CHANGE IN RUNWAY AND THE HOLD SHORT INSTRUCTIONS MAY HAVE DISTRACTED HIS ATTENTION FROM HIS CHECK LIST AND RESULTED IN HIS FAILURE TO INSURE THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. THIS IS A FINAL REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
