## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: UPON DEPARTURE AT AN ALTITUDE OF 100' A/C STARTED TO VIBRATE SLIGHTLY. MOMENTS LATER VIBRATION AMPLITUDE INCREASED TO A POINT THAT THE INSTRUMENTS WERE NOT READABLE. PILOT AND CO-PILOT EACH MADE VISUAL INSPECTION OF RESPECTIVE ENGINES. PILOT NOTED LEFT ENGINE LOOKED SMOOTH. CO-PILOT NOTED HIS ENGINE WAS SHAKING VIOLENTLY. BOTH AGREED ON SECURING #2. A SUCCESSFUL RETURN TO THE FIELD WAS ACCOMPLISHED. UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS NOTED THAT PORTIONS OF SPINNER WERE MISSING, ONE PROPELLER BLADE HAD DEPARTED APPROXIMATELY 10" FROM ROOT, AND THE BLADE IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF FAILED BLADE HAD A MISSING COUNTERWEIGHT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
