## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: APPROACHING SFZ THE PILOT RECEIVED THE WEATHER FROM THE SFZ AWOS AND AIRPORT ADVISORY FROM UNICOM. RUNWAY 33 WAS THE ACTIVE RUNWAY AND ANOTHER AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN ANNOUNCING BASE THEN FINAL FOR RUNWAY 33. N201BT TOUCHED DOWN APPROXIMATELY HALF WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY AND WENT APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET OFF THE END. THE MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS WERE DAMAGED BY STRIKING 2 REILS. THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE WIND HAD CHANGED AND VERIFIED THIS WITH THE AWOS. THE WIND HAD CHANGED APPROXIMATELY 180 DEGREES CAUSING HIM TO LAND WITH A DOWNWIND CONDITION. INCIDENT CLOSED WITH NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
