## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING LANDING ROLL OUT, THE PILOT PLACED THE PROP CONTROLS INTO GROUND FINE AS ALWAYS. ON THIS OCCASION, THE LEFT PROPELLER WENT INTO REVERSE WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER SHARPLEY TO THE LEFT. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR WENT OFF THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT. THIS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL FAIRING. UPON INSPECTION OF THE LEFT PROPELLER COMPONENTS BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT PART OF THE LINKAGE WAS INSUFFICIENT IN DEAD BAND AND CAUSED REVERSE TO COME IN TOO SOON. THE LINKAGE WAS RE-RIGGED AND ADJUSTED AND THE PROBLEM CORRECTED. THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
