## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: APRIL 8, 1996, AT 1424Z OR 8:24 CDST LOCAL TIME, PILOT MICHAEL BLACK REPORTED TO THE JACKSON, TN FSS THAT THE DOOR CAME OFF OF THE BEECH 200 KING AIR AIRCRAFT N7RW DURING DESCENT FROM 1500' INTO THE SAVANNAH, TN AIRPORT (SNH). MR. ED DAVIS, A&P AND OWNER OF DAVIS AIRCRAFT SERVICE, LOOKED AT THE DOOR AND STATED THAT THE DOOR BROKE OFF AT THE HINGE WITHOUT ANY OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD LANDED SAFELY WITH NO INJURIES FROM THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
