## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT WAS RECOVERING FROM A BOUNCE ON LANDING AND OVER CORRECTED CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY. HE THEN TAXIED OFF THE ACTIVE RUNWAY, PARKED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE TIPS OF THE PROPELLER WERE CURLED. THE LYCOMING ENGINE MANUAL CALLS FOR AN ENGINE INSPECTION. THE OWNER IS HAVING THE ENGINE OVERHAULED. THE PILOT IS A LOW-TIME, TAIL WHEEL PILOT, BUT HAS 6000 HOURS PILOTING EXPERIENCE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
