## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 4-25-96 PIC EDISON PAZMINO, "REPORTED THAT", EN ROUTE FROM VERO BEACH, FL VIA ORLANDO, FL TO VERO BCH., FL, EXPERIENCED MOMENTARY ELECTRICAL FAILURE PRIOR TO LANDING VERO BCH, FL AT APPROX. 2345 HRS EST. AND COULD NOT VERIFY LANDING GEAR DOWN & LOCKED; AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE GEAR COLLAPSED. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD MINOR DAMAGE. AN FAA INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT "N810BJ" COULD NOT VERIFY THAT THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM NOR THAT THE LANDING GEAR HAD BEEN EXTENDED FOR LANDING. THE LANDING GEAR UP-LOCK CABLE WAS FOUND BROKEN AND LANDING GEAR BUSHINGS HAVE EXCESSIVE WEAR. END.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
