## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT INDICATED THAT HE PUT THE GEAR HANDLE DOWN IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN. THE PILOT HAD A LANDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION. WHEN HE TOUCHED DOWN THE GEAR WAS IN THE TRANSIT POSITION, NOT DOWN AND LOCKED, THUS CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER, ENGINE EXHAUST, COWL FLAPS, RADIO ANTENNAS, AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS. HE ALSO INDICATED THAT POST INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD POPPED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
