## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT WAS PRACTICING TAKEOFF & LANDINGS IN RECENTLY PURCHASED BOEING-175N. DUE TO A STRONG RIGHT CROSSWIND ON LANDING RUNWAY 32 HE FAILED TO GET THE UPWIND WING DOWN TO COUNTER CROSSWIND AND DOWNWIND WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY. UPON INSPECTION MINOR DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE LEFT WINGTIP AND OUTBOARD TIP TRAILING EDGE OF LEFT AILERON. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. PILOT HAS SINCE RECEIVED ADDITIONAL DUAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTION IN THIS AIRCRAFT TO INCLUDE 36 LANDINGS AND HAS ESTABLISHED THE PROPER CROSSWIND TECHNIQUE REQUIRED OF THIS TYPE AIRCRAFT. NO FURTHER ACTION IS PLANNED AT THIS TIME.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
