## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT ENTERED LEFT DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 22 (HARD SURFACE) AT 37G. AFTER SLOWING TO APPROACH SPEED, THE PILOT ADVANCED THE THROTTLE WITH NO RESPONSE. THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 27 (GRASS) DUE TO POSITION IN THE PATTERN. TOUCHDOWN WAS UNEVENTFUL. HOWEVER, JUST PRIOR TO COMPLETING THE LANDING ROLL THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A VERY SOFT, WET, AREA WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO TIP FORWARD. THIS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER DIE TO CONTACT WITH THE GRASS SURFACE. MECHANIC INSPECTED ENGINE AND AIRCRAFT FOR DAMAGE. NONE FOUND. MECHANIC REMOVED FUEL FILTER AND INSPECTED. REMOVED CARBURETOR INLET SCREEN, DRAINED WING TANK SUMPS AND FOUND NO CONTAMINATION OR WATER. ENGINE RUN-UP AFTER INSPECTION OK.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
