## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MAY 14, 1996, AT APPROXIMATELY 0750 MST, MR. JOSEPH P. VINT, WAS PILOT-IN-COMMAND OF EXPERIMENTAL KIT FOX, N94PV, WHEN IT WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY 7L AT DEER VALLEY AIRPORT, PHOENIX, ARIZONA. THE AIRPLANE SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, RIGHT WING TIP AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PROPERLY CERTIFICATED PILOT. THE PILOT HAD BEEN DOING TOUCH-AND-GO'S AT DEER VALLEY AIRPORT. THIS WAS INTENDED TO BE A FULL-STOP LANDING, AND WHEN THE AIRPLANE WENT OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INTO A DITCH, THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
