THE CHINESE MANUFACTURED AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED BY THE THREE PRIVATE OWNERS AS A TITLE 14 CFT PART 91 FLIGHT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM SHREVEPORT DOWNTOWN AIRPORT APPROXIMATELY SEVEN MINUTES BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT OF A SECOND AIRPLANE THAT WAS TO JOIN IN AS A FLIGHT OF TWO, THE PILOT OF THE ACCIDENT AIRPLANE REPORTED ON THE RADIO THAT HE HAD EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER AND ESTABLISHED A GLIDE TO AN OPEN FIELD. THE WITNESS PILOT REPORTED THAT "THE PLANE BANKED TO THE LEFT, THE NOSE DROPPED, THEN IMPACTED THE GROUND IN A 20 TO 30 DEGREE NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE, BOUNCED, AND CAUGHT ON FIRE." A POST IMPACT FIRE DESTROYED THE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
