## Narrative

AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND ATTEMPTED TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY LANDING, FLIPPED OVER ON LANDING. (-23) THE PILOT WAS CONDUCTING AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS BY SPRAYING A PESTICIDE ON HIS OWN PROPERTY WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED. THE PILOT APPARENTLY LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND COLLIDED WITH THE GROUND WHILE EXECUTING A TURNAROUND MANEUVER TO MAKE A SWATH RUN. THE PILOT WAS NOT OPERATING UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF AN AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT OPERATING CERTIFICATE AND HAD NOT BEEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 14 CFR 137. THE PILOT ALSO HAD NOT RECEIVED ANY TRAINING IN AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
