NARRATIVE: PILOT SURVEYED LANDING AREA AND ENTERED NORMAL TRAFFIC PATTERN. PERFORMED LANDING CHECK ON DOWNWIND; GEAR SELECTED AND SHOWED "UP". NORMAL APPROACH AND SHORT FINAL TOUCHDOWN RESULTED IN IMMEDIATE FLIP (TAIL OVER NOSE). AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST INVERTED. AFTER PILOT AND PASSENGERS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT, THE PILOT REALIZED HE HAD THE LANDING GEAR DOWN AND NOT UP FOR A WATER LANDING. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.
