As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JUNE 1, 1996, AT 0148, CDT, A BEECHCRAFT, BE-58-TC SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED UPON LANDING AT ADAMS FIELD, LITTLE ROCK, AR. THE AIR TRANSPORT PILOT AND TWO PASSENGERS WERE NOT INJURED. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT WHEN HE LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR, THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR IN-TRANSIT LIGHT (RED) REMAINED ON. INVESTIGATION BY A&P MECHANICS, IN FLIGHT, REVEALED THE RIGHT MAIN RETRACT ROD WAS BENT AND THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND WITH THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR NOT LOCKED IN DOWN POSITION. INVESTIGATION OF THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR OPERATION AFTER A NEW RIGHT RETRACT ROD HAD BEEN INSTALLED, REVEALED THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR LEG HUNG UP ON A NUT THAT SECURES THE UPLOCK STOP, AFTER TWENTY (20) GEAR RETRACTION CYCLES. THE NEW RETRACT ROD SUSTAINED DAMAGE SIMILAR TO THE DAMAGE OF THE ORIGINAL ROD. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
