## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 6/15/96 AT 1810 EDT, A SAAB, SF340, N351BE, OPERATED BY BUSINESS EXPRESS, INC., DURING CLIMB EXPERIENCED UNSAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION. AIRCRAFT RETURNED AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 28. AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. COMPANY MECHANICS REMOVED NOSE GEAR STRUT, REPLACED PACKING, SERVICED NOSE STRUT. OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS SATISFACTORY AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
