## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON LANDING ROLL AT SFO, AWXA FLIGHT 2605 BLEW BOTH #1 AND #2 MLG TIRES WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE INBOARD FLAPS AND LEFT GEAR DOORS. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE DAMAGED PARTS AND DETERMINED THE METERING VALVE, MFG. PART #65445216, SERIAL #SA5598 HAD CAUSED THE FAILURE. PILOTS STATED THAT AFTER A SMOOTH TOUCHDOWN AND INITIAL ROLL OUT THEY EXPERIENCED VIOLENT SHAKING AND STRONG DECELERATION. BRAKES WERE NOT USED. THE AIRCRAFT TURNED OFF THE RUNWAY AND STOPPED ON THE TAXIWAY WHERE THEY WERE MET BY FIRE TRUCKS. NO EMERGENCY EVACUATION WAS NEEDED OR ACCOMPLISHED. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
