## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JULY 6, 1996, AT ABOUT 2030 LCL, A PIPER PA-31-350, REGISTERED TO WINGS AS EAGLES MISSION AIR SERV, INC., WAS ON DESCENT INTO FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, FROM GRAND TURK. AT APPROXIMATELY 100 MILES EAST OF FLL, THE RIGHT ENGINE QUIT. THEN AT ABOUT 40 MILES OUT, THE LEFT ENGINE QUIT. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE LEFT ENGINE AND CONTINUE HIS FLIGHT INTO FLL WITH NO DAMAGE AND NO INJURY. FURTHER INSPECTION BY MAINTENANCE REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT HAND INLINE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP WAS OPERATING INTERMITTENTLY AND THE LEFT INLINE FUEL PUMP OPERATED AT A VERY LOW PRESSURE. BOTH ENGINE DRIVEN FUEL PUMPS WERE ALSO REMOVED FOR OVERHAUL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
