## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB IAD96LA111](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/IAD96LA111), Jul 10, 1996: Cessna 150 (N16095), Vincent, OH, destroyed. Probable cause: the instructor's inadequate supervision by allowing the student and himself to become lost, his inadequate inflight planning/decision by failing to ensure the airplane was safely landed before fuel…

## Other reports on N16095 (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19910628029179I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910628029179I), Jun 28, 1991: Cessna 150L (N16095), Wheeling, WV, Minor damage. Student pilot lost directional control of aircraft. Veered off runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
