## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AFTER LANDING AT PORT HILL, TAXIING, AND PARKING AT THE "PARK HERE FOR US CUSTOMS" AREA, REBOARDED FOR A FLIGHT TO MCCALL, ID. AS AIRCRAFT TAXIED OUT ON A WELL MANICURED TAXIWAY TO THE RUNWAY, THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR WENT INTO A "SINK HOLE" ABOUT TWO FEET ACROSS AND 18 INCHES DEEP, BREAKING OFF THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR. THE GRASS HAD GROWN UP AND HAD BEEN CUT OFF EVENLY; THEREFORE, GIVING NO INDICATION OF ANY DANGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
