## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT STATED: THAT AFTER CANCELLING HIS IFR FLIGHT PLAN FROM LEBANON AIRPORT, WARREN CO. OHIO TO YOUNGSTOWN, LANSDOWNE AIRPORT, OHIO HE PLANNED FOR LANDING ON 02 RWY. THE WIND WAS LESS THAN 10 COMING FROM 270'-290'. HE STATED THAT HE TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT 1000' DOWN THE RUNWAY OF THE 3000' LEAD RUNWAY. HIS APPROACH SPEED WAS BETWEEN 80 & 90 WITH FULL FLAPS EXTENDED. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A WIND-SHIFT JUST AS I TOUCHED DOWN, THE PILOT SAID. I APPLIED BRAKES BUT I WAS GOING TOO FAST AND TOO FAR DOWN THE RUNWAY TO STOP, HE ADDED. I THOUGHT OF GOING AROUND, BUT FELT THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CLEAR THE TREES, SO I JUST CONTINUED ON THE RUNWAY AND RAN OFF THE END. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
