## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING TAXI FOR TAKEOFF THE LEFT ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. THE CREW SECURED THE LEFT ENGINE AND THE LIGHT WENT OUT. ONE OF THE PASSENGERS IDENTIFIED HIMSELF AS A HEART PATIENT AND REQUESTED THE AIRCONDITIONER BE TURNED ON. THE PILOT LET THE RIGHT ENGINE RUN SO THAT THE PASSENGERS WOULD BE COMFORTABLE UNTIL A BUS COULD BE DISPATCHED TO RETURN THE PASSENGERS TO THE TERMINAL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO EAGLE AVIATION WHERE CONTRACT MAINTENANCE FOUND A LOOSE BOLT SECURING THE EXHAUST FLANGE. THE BOLT WAS TORQUED, AND THE FIRE WARNING SYSTEM CHECKED OK. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
