## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AT 1730 CDT, ON JULY 31, 1996, MR. EDWARD RAY KINNEY, HOLDER OF COMMERCIAL AIRMAN CERTIFICATE NUMBER 519086026, WAS THE PILOT IN COMMAND OF A PA-23, N4247P. WHILE CONDUCTING DUAL FLIGHT INSTRUCTION AT THE BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS AIRPORT, HE NEGLECTED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR, RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO PHYSICAL INJURIES TO HIMSELF, HIS STUDENT, OR THE PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
