## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT WAS AT 11,500 WHEN THE AILERONS STOPPED RESPONDING TO PILOT INPUTS, THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE RIGHT AND WENT INTO A SPIN. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO PULL OUT OF THE SPIN AND SET THE AIRCRAFT DOWN IN A FIELD, LOCATED 2 NM SE OF NORWOOD, CO WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT AILERON CONTROL CABLE, AFT WAS BROKEN. THIS IS A FINAL REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
