## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON TAKE-OFF, PRIOR TO GEAR RETRACTION, TWO (2) DUCKS WERE INGESTED INTO #2 ENGINE. #2 ENGINE EXPERIENCED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE AND A SERIES OF COMPRESSOR STALLS. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO MCO WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT WAS TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE AND #2 ENGINE WAS REMOVED AND SHIPPED TO AN ENGINE OVERHAUL FACILITY. ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIRS AND OR REPLACEMENT PARTS IS $1,000,000.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
