## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ABOUT 10 TO 15 MINUTES AFTER TAKEOFF FROM KINGMAN HE LOST ALL POWER (ENGINE). BECAUSE OF HEAVY WESTBOUND TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY, HE ELECTED TO TURN AROUND AND LAND ON THE EASTBOUND LANES WHICH HAD LIGHTER TRAFFIC. HE INTENTIONALLY LANDED GEAR-UP AND FLAPS TO HAVE AN APPROPRIATE SPEED TO MERGE AND NOT CAUSE A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. THE PLANE SKIDDED ON THE HIGHWAY, THEN THE RIGHT WING-TIP CAUGHT A HIGHWAY SIGN AND TURNED INTO A DITCH, WHERE IT CAME TO REST. DAMAGE WAS MINOR. REPORT CLOSED.
