NARRATIVE: ON 8/18/96 AT APPROXIMATELY 2055 EST, A CESSNA 182 RG, N5300T, REGISTERED TO BECKWITH AL DBA, STRUCK A DEER ON THE LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 24 AT BUFFALO AIRFIELD (9G0) WHILE ON A PERSONAL FLIGHT. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, LEFT NOSE GEAR DOOR, AND LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE COWL. THE PILOT, GERALD SZKOTNICKI, AND HIS PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
