## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: MR. BULLER HAD BEEN FLYING ABOUT 30 MINUTES, WHEN AT CRUISE POWER AT 800 FEET THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND 20 SECONDS LATER QUIT. MR. BULLER TRIED TO MAKE THE RUNWAY BUT REALIZED HE WOULD BE SHORT AND PUT THE AIRCRAFT IN A CORNFIELD. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE. INDICATIONS ARE THAT A BAD SPARK PLUG WAS THE PROBLEM, AND IT WAS RECOMENDED A M OR D REPORT BE SUBMITTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
