## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT MADE A NORMAL APPROACH TO CHICKVILL AIR STRIP. ON ROUNDOUT, EVERYTHING SEEMED NORMAL, HE HIT THE GROUND IN A THREE POINT ATTITUDE. AT THAT TIME THE GEAR GAVE WAY (RT) SPREADING TO BOTH SIDES. AFTER ABOUT 125 FEET THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED. MINOR DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE GEAR AREA AND THE PROP WAS BENT. THERE WAS MINOR SCRAPED DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. RE-EXAM IS RECOMMENDED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
