## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT LOST CONTROL OF AIRCRAFT ON LANDING, FLIPPED OVER. (-23) MR. BURRIS INDICATED HE WAS LANDING TO THE SOUTH ON THE DIRT STRIP USE BY FOSHEE SPRAYING SVC. HE MADE A 3 POINT LANDING AND THE AIRPLANE STARTED TO LEAVE THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT. HE ADDED A BURST OF POWER BUT IT WAS NOT ENOUGH. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT AND OVERTURNED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW96LA374](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW96LA374), Sep 1, 1996: Air Tractor AT-401 (N1502F), Brownfield, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during landing roll. A factor was the crosswind.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
