## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON SEPTEMBER 23, 1996, MR. ANDREW R. FOX, ACTED AS PILOT-IN-COMMAND OF A PIPER PA-31-350, OWNED AND OPERATED BY KUSKO AVIATION, INC., OF BETHEL, AK A PART 135 ON-DEMAND. OPERATOR MR. FOX DEPARTED KIPNUK, AK (AK11K) FOR A TEN MINUTE FLIGHT TO KWIGILLINGOK, AK (AK85). THERE WERE FOUR (4) PASSENGERS ON BOARD. MR. FOX LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT PLACING THE LANDING GEAR IN THE DOWN POSITION. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PASSENGERS OR TO MR. FOX, AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT CONSTITUTE AN ACCIDENT. THIS EVENT WAS CLASSIFIED AS AN INCIDENT BY NTSB.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
