THE INSTRUCTOR REBRIEFED THE STUDENT, WHO TAXIED BACK TO THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND THEN REPEATED THE TAKEOFF SUCCESSFULLY.. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED APPROXIMATELY 1.5 HOURS LATER AND RETURNED TO THE RAMP. AFTER LANDING AND REDUCING POWER THE CREW NOTICED A VIBRATION FROM THE RIGHT ENGINE. AFTER SHUT-DOWN THE CREW DISCOVERED THAT THE RIGHT PROP WAS MISSING A TWO INCH SECTION OF ONE BLADE TIP. THE AIRCRAFT HAD MADE A TEMPORARY RUNWAY EXCURSION DURING THE ABORTED TAKEOFF STRIKING A RUNWAY LIGHT WITH ONE PROP BLADE AS IT TRAVELED THROUGH IT'S ARC OF ROTATION. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
