SHORTLY AFTER LIFT OFF, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK TREES AT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY BUT MANAGED TO KEEP FLYING AND CONTINUE TO CLIMB INTO VFR WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED ON COURSE UNTIL THE PILOT REPORTED A VIBRATION AND DECIDED TO MAKE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING AT BECKLEY, WV (BKW) AND CHECK FOR DAMAGE. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
