## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT DEPARTED BOI ENROUTE TO SUN VALLEY. BOI ATCT ADVISED THE PILOT THAT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DID NOT RETRACT PROPERLY. ATTEMPTS WERE MADE BY THE PILOT TO RETRACT AND EXTEND LANDING GEAR. THE LEFT MAIN WOULD NOT LOCK DOWN AND WOULD NOT COMPLETELY RETRACT. THE PILOT DECIDED TO RETRACT THE RIGHT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR AND MAKE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON RUNWAY 10L AT BOI. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BELLY AND BENT PROPELLER BLADES. NO FIRE OR INJURIES TO THE PILOT. A SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION FOUND A BROKEN LANDING GEAR SADDLE THAT ATTACHES TO THE LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR. THIS CLOSES THE INVESTIGATION / REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
