## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT IN COMMAND, MR. ARNOLD LINDBERG, STATED THAT AT APPROXIMATELY 1730 LOCAL TIME, HE WAS DOING SOME WHEEL LANDING INSTRUCTION WITH A PRIVATE PILOT. THEY HAD BEEN IN THE PATTERN FOR RUNWAY 23 AT CUT BANK FOR A FEW MINUTES, AND WERE MAKING THEIR 4TH TOUCH AND GO. THE PILOT UNDER INSTRUCTION WAS IN THE FRONT SEAT AT THE CONTROLS. AS HE ENTERED THE FLARE, HE ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO BALLOON AND AIRSPEED DECAYED. THE NOSE DROPPED SLIGHTLY AND THE AIRCRAFT "ARRIVED" A LITTLE NOSE LOW AND FIRMER THAN NORMAL. MR. LINDBERG STATED HE HEARD A FAINT SOUND LIKE A "TICK TICK" UPON ARRIVAL ON THE GROUND. HE THEN TOOK THE CONTROLS AND ADDED POWER AT WHICH TIME HE FELT AN UNUSUAL VIBRATION, AND REJECTED THE TAKEOFF. POST FLIGHT REVEALED THE PROP TIPS HAD BEEN BENT. THE PROP WAS REMOVED AND SHIPPED TO LEADING EDGE FOR REPAIR. THE CRANKSHAFT WAS INSPECTED. NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WILL BE RETURNED TO SERVICE WITHOUT NEED FOR FURTHER REPAIRS.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
