## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON NOVEMBER 8, 1996, AT APPROXIMATELY 1530 MST, AN EXPERIMENTAL HOME-BUILT CONNORS MXII ULTRALIGHT, N7016R, LOST POWER AND LANDED HARD IN A FIELD NEAR TOLESON, ARIZONA. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE, AND THE CERTIFICATED PRIVATE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER RECEIVED NO INJURIES. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED DURING THE CATTLE TRACKING FLIGHT, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM PARADISE AIRPARK, ARIZONA AT APPROXIMATELY 1510 MST. INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED A RUBBER FUEL PRIMER PUMP BULB WAS LEAKING. IT WAS REPLACED WITH AN IN-LINE PUSH PRIMER, AND OPERATIONALLY CHECKED OKAY. INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
